What about the Canary Islands?
The Canary Islands are outside the EU VAT area and apply 7% IGIC instead of IVA. The dashboard detects Canary Islands postal codes automatically, switches to the IGIC tax flow, and routes the parcel through the correct customs declaration. Ceuta and Melilla apply 4% IPSI under the same separate handling.
Will my customer see Correos on tracking?
Yes, on the majority of shipments. Correos and Correos Express handle most Spanish last-mile with Spanish-language scan events (EnvÃo admitido, En reparto, Entregado). SEUR, GLS, and MRW are alternates for specific parcel sizes or regions.
