Questions, answered plainly.

What is the typical MOQ?

250 units for mailer boxes, 500 units for poly mailers and tissue, 250 units for cards, stickers, and hangtags. Lower MOQs are sometimes possible with simpler finishes (single-color print, standard sizes) or by sharing a print run with other Peregrine brands on similar specs.

What is the typical turnaround?

2 to 3 weeks from approved proof to stock landing at the Peregrine warehouse. Roughly 48 hours for the design proof, 10 to 14 days for production, and 2 to 3 days for delivery. Add 1 week of international shipping if you want stock sent to a US or EU warehouse instead.

Can I see a sample before ordering?

Yes. Physical samples are $20 to $60 depending on the item plus shipping, delivered in 3 to 5 days via DHL. Digital proofs and 3D mockups are free and usually enough to confirm the design and finish before you commit to a physical sample.

Do you offer eco-friendly options?

Recycled kraft mailers, biodegradable cornstarch-based poly mailers, FSC-certified paperboard, water-based and soy inks. Most eco options carry a 10 to 20 percent per-unit premium over standard materials. Every quote lists the certification body, so your sustainability claims stay verifiable.

Can I use my own designer's files?

Yes. Any production-ready file works (AI, PSD, PDF, or a packaging dieline). The prepress team runs a free file check before production to catch resolution issues, missing bleed, or color profile mismatches. No designer on your side? Design work is available as a one-time service, quoted upfront.

What about US and EU compliance markings?

All standard regional compliance markings are included at no extra cost: FSC mark on certified paper, recycling triangle and resin code on poly, country-of-origin stamp, and the Green Dot for German EPR-registered brands. EU PPWR-ready files (with mandatory data-matrix codes on the artwork) are available on request.

What if I want to switch packaging mid-stock?

Two paths. Phase out: keep using existing stock until depleted, the new design ships from the order after. Hot switch: pick a cutover date, remaining old stock goes to recycling at Peregrine's cost, new design starts that day. Most brands phase out to avoid waste.

What if I move to a different 3PL later?

You own the artwork files and the tooling. Remaining packaging stock at the Peregrine warehouse ships to your new fulfillment center at cost. No exit fee, no clawback, no hostage situation. Same applies in reverse if you're consolidating from another 3PL into Peregrine.
